All business courses numbered above 300 have

Business students should:

Take the Math Placement Test as soon as
possible. Contact Learning Support
Services, 206 DER, 663-2281, to schedule an appointment.

Complete Math 111 (College Algebra) as
soon as possible or satisfy the Math 111 requirement though the Math
Placement Test.

Take Math 121 (Statistics) and Math 122
(Finite Mathematics) as soon as possible. Be sure you satisfy
the prerequisites before enrolling.

Math 111,
121, and 122 are
prerequisites for several basic "Business" required
courses.
• ECON 255 or 256: These courses
satisfy the general education F4 requirement.
• PHIL 104: This course satisfies the
general education F7 requirement.
• PHIL 101 – Logic: The Practice
of Critical Thinking is a prerequisite for PHIL 104.
• ENG 200:
ENG 102 or 103 and CA 101 should be completed no later than the
semester in which ENG 200 is taken. ENG 200 is a prerequisite for
BUS 475.
• Selecting Coursework: Freshman
and Sophomore years focus on completing prerequisites for
BUS 301-305, the top half of the Required Courses List
(ENG 200 can be delayed until the junior year), and the
College’s general education requirements.
