The International Student Office helps guide students
through the new educational system and the new culture.
The director also helps international students understand their
rights and responsibilities as holders of non-immigrant visas.

International
students requiring an I-20 form from Edgewood College are required to
demonstrate sufficient financial resources.
International
students are required to purchase health insurance through Edgewood
College unless waived because the student is enrolled in an equivalent
plan.
2.
Non-native English Speakers
Non-native
English language speakers must give evidence of English Language
proficiency in one of the following three ways:
By having
received a Bachelor’s Degree from an institution in which English is
the language of the institution
The Minimum TOEFL Score
for admission consideration is:
1. Internet-based Testing (iBT): Minimum Total Score of 80,
with the following minimum section requirements:
• Reading: 20
• Listening: 20
• Speaking: 20
• Writing: 20
2. Computer Based TOEFL: Minimum Total Score of 213.
3. Non-Computer Based TOEFL: 550
Note:
In Madison, the TOEFL
may be taken at Prometric located at 5003 University Ave., Suite 185.

Completing the
Wisconsin English as a Second Language Institute’s (WESLI’s) 700
level requirements (includes 700RW and 700SL courses) with a rating of
“very good” or higher (3, 3+ or 4.)
These requirements include academic reading and writing, and
academic listening and speaking skills.
Students must arrange to have these results and a recommendation
from WESLI forwarded to the Graduate Admissions Office at Edgewood
College.

Completing the Madison English as a Second Language School's (MESLS')
Level Six (103B) core courses in reading, writing, grammar, and
communication with at least an AB average overall in that level and no
grade lower than a B in any course. Students must arrange to have these
results and a recommendation from MESLS forwarded to the Graduate
Admissions Office at Edgewood College.

3. Applicants having attended
Non-United States Post-Secondary Institutions.
An
MBA applicant that has attended a Non-United States Post-Secondary
Institution is required to have their credentials from those
institutions reviewed by an educational credential evaluation service
that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation
Services. Please request a
detailed course-by-course report.
