Goals/Teaching Philosophy
My goals and teaching philosophy would require more space to adequately explain--however they can be summarized in the following manner: My goal is to help my students acquire the knowledge needed to master their field of study, but also to help them build skills that will be invaluable in their professional and personal endeavors. I aim to inspire them to conquer their limitations, strive to make a difference in the lives of people they meet, and make learning a lifelong pursuit. I try to instill in them the practical tools and personal values, the creative vision and strategic thinking that will give them competitive advantage and will help them exceed even their own expectations of success. I also plan to work towards making Edgewood even more rigorous without sacrificing its values, and even more prominent in ways that will make our former, current, and future students proud.
