Graduate Certificate Admission Requirements
Anyone holding a bachelor's degree, may apply for admission as a
Special Student in a Certificate Program at any time, by
filling out an application. Students must meet the following
requirements:
1. Hold a baccalaureate
degree with a cumulative grade point average of
2.75 on a 4.0 scale from an accredited post-secondary
institution.
2. Complete and submit a graduate application to the
Admissions Office. For details see
Admission Materials and Requirements.
3. Pay the $25 non-refundable application fee.
4. International Students must give evidence of
English language proficiency by, for example, obtaining a
minimum score of 213 on the computer-based TOEFL exam. For
details and additional options see
International Students.
Certificate credits that you
earn as a Special Student may apply to degree programs. If you
later decide to pursue a degree and would like to transfer the
Certificate credits you must apply for a change in
classification. You simply need to submit a written request to
the Admissions Office and meet the standard requirements for the
degree you are seeking. Additional information may be obtained
from the Admissions Office at (608) 663-2217.
