Student Profile
- There are approximately 180
students enrolled in the Edgewood MBA Program
- MBA student ages range from the mid-twenties to the
late-fifties
- Approximately 30% of students complete 3 or fewer courses
annually
- Approximately 20% of students complete 6 or more courses
annually
- Students’ academic backgrounds range across the entire
spectrum of undergraduate majors
- The MBA student population includes a number of PhDs, MDs
and JDs.

Class
Size
Classes are generally limited to
25 students, with the following exceptions:
- Bus 601 Executive Communication and Bus 609 Strategic
Management are limited to 18 students

Some
elective courses are limited to 15 students.

Load
Limits (per session)
Students may take
no more than:

5 courses during any semester

3 courses during a summer session

1 course during any short-session
There
is no minimum number of courses required during any session.

Meeting
Times & Available Sessions
Courses are scheduled
predominantly:

On weekday evenings and weekends

On an every-other week basis during spring and fall
semesters

In three hour meeting blocks

Additional
time may be required outside of class for project team meetings.
Courses are offered during the following sessions each year:

Fall Semester (late August to mid-December)

Number
of Required Courses & Tuition
The total number of
courses required to complete the MBA degree depends upon an individual’s
academic background. Academic
background is assessed during the application review process based on
certified copies of the student’s academic transcripts and, in certain
instances, GMAT scores. Generally,
between 12 and 18 courses are required.

Financial
Aid
Students
who are accepted into the MBA Program and who are enrolled for a minimum
of four graduate credits per semester, may be eligible for federal
government Stafford Loans and/or Alternative Loans. For more information visit
